Project Rescue Teams

Project Rescue Teams

Our Project rescue teams can untangle and uncomplicate any project speedily to salvage stagnated software development projects and deliver a high-quality outcome that meets your technical and business needs.

The Problem:
Why do software development projects go wrong?

About half of all software development projects go over budget, and more than a half never meet the client’s expectations. In a nutshell, issues that lead to failed software development projects stem from an entanglement of technical challenges and a lack of understanding of the client’s vision and objectives. Some of the reasons why software development projects fizzle out, stagnate, or collapse include the following:

  • Wrong

Unclearly defined vision, scope, and requirements causing re-coding and frustratingly slow development progress

  • Wrong

Lack of the necessary technical, strategic, and interpersonal skills to complete the job as promised

  • Wrong

Learning on the job due to a lack of industry domain knowledge

  • Wrong

Applying high-risk and stifling features that may cause roadblocks

  • Wrong

Committing a project to an insufficient budget, poor scheduling, and unattainable goals/quality/expectations

  • Wrong

Scaling problems and developer not coping well with realities of the task or project at hand

  • Wrong

Lack of project leadership and ownership

  • Wrong Poor communication and transparency
  • Wrong

Lack of access to the development team and to data

  • Wrong

Contractual issues and mutual disagreements about the-way-forward

  • Wrong

Poor technical and business integration by the developer caused by a lack of understanding of the client’s needs

How Tizbi Can Help

Once you are at the end of your tether and gain the wisdom to ask for help, Tizbi should be your first port of call to gain control through our Project Rescue Teams.

We will first seek to appreciate what you have gone through and gain a detailed view of the current status of your software development project and how you got there. The next step will be to collaborate with you to salvage the situation, whatever the case may be. Some of the standard measures or options that we will advise may include:

  • Standart Measure

Providing consultancy to work with or engage your current development team in navigating the best way forward that will lead to a successful outcome.

  • Standart Measure

Take over the failed or stagnated software development project and steer it to successful completion.

  • Standart Measure

Salvage parts of existing code and attempt to complete the project by reinforcing it with a new set of code.

Our Solution: Guiding You to Your Desired Outcome

Generally, software development issues are difficult to isolate because dev projects are unidentical. However, since Tizbi has over 20 years of software project management and software development expertise, we can identify and mitigate problems that less experienced developers may overlook.

Our Solution

Our know-how allows us to squarely take-on and salvage dev projects that may be considered problematic by other development teams.

Our Solution

We also consider all possible sensitivities between you and the existing developers keeping in mind that fostering a transparent and collaborative environment is crucial for a positive outcome.

Our Solution

We carefully choose the right protocols that will outline clear terms, best practices, and outcomes to deal with any eventualities that have arisen or that may arise to see your involvement through to a successful conclusion.

Our Solution

Our job will be to work with you and ensure that you achieve your desired outcomes and maximize business value. We will be as hands-on as you need in bringing in the required technical, strategic, or inter-personal acumen to achieve this end.

Step 1

Pause the project

instead of forging on the wrong path. Why? If you don’t know where you are, and if you are unsure about the intended destination, you’re likely to follow the wrong path and fail to meet expectations. Pausing the project will also send a message to your existing team that there is going to be a change in approach and that a project rescue team will be involved.

Step 2

Understanding the details of your technical and business requirements

At this point, our Project Rescue Team will work with you to gain insight into the desired expectations and outcome. We’ll sit with you to determine the scope of the project as well as which business and technical goals you want to achieve while still staying within your budget.

Step 3

Get your current team on side

Hopefully, your existing team understands that the project isn’t going according to plan and that you need to get the project successfully finalized. In our experience, your current team may initially fear any meddling in their work. However, they’re eventually relieved that they have more hands-on-deck to shoulder the burden. It’s crucial to find out whether the current team is prepared to work with you to get the project finalized. If all goes well, there will be productive engagement between the two teams that will lead to the desired outcome.

Step 4

Schedule a meeting between our project rescue team and your existing team

Input from your current team will be useful in helping move the project forward. The current team can take this opportunity to openly and honestly reassess their performance vis-à-vis where they wanted to be. However, if such help is not forthcoming, then our Project Rescue Team will forge on.

Step 5

Code review

We will catalog and appraise the viability of assets, including code, and assess work done so far to evaluate whether your current assets are worthwhile for reuse in the dev project.

Step 6

Gap analysis and a functional requirement review

These are done to determine the distance between the current reality and the desired outcomes/expectations as well as plan the useful work that needs to be done to bring the project to successful completion.

Step 7

Create and deliver a detailed development plan

The plan will include realignment of project deliverables and milestones for successful project completion and launch

Step 8

Development and testing

Project momentum is restored, and the health of the project is monitored on a day-to-day basis ensuring that quality assurance, security, regular progress reports, and updates are made to ensure that the project is ahead of the curve. Test releases are also done to ensure that there is stakeholder trust that the solution is coming together well

Step 9

Launch and support

The launch of the software is planned, and if ongoing training, support, and maintenance are required, then it is provided as agreed upon.

Success Stories

Don’t just take our word for it - see what some of our customers are saying about our project rescue services.

Tizbi, "Our tech saviors”, is how I describe our tech team! Before our connection with Tizbi, we had previously experienced a team that just could not deliver anything on an allocated budget. In addition, the code was unusable and we needed a rescue!

Fortunately, we met the Tizbi team; Sasha Birger, Jim Turner, and Dimitry Ivanov. In no time at all with efficient planning, they turned our development program totally around. The first class project management team includes Polina Truhan, Aziza Shcherbich, Olga Polevaya, Olga Peisahovich and many others. They are always efficient, on time, and provide incredible succinct communication between us, the client, and their development team.

Crumbs Music and I recommend the Tizbi team!

It has been a long, winding road getting everything ready for the launch day. We would not be here without the dedication of the Tizbi team.

I like that COO digs his heels in when I'm wrong about something. I like the transparency. I like that the whole team takes a consultative approach (COO, project manager and developer).

Most of all, I like that they put my customers and my business ahead of their own. They truly have my back. They are a partner, not a vendor.

Nick Bradfield Nick Bradfield Founder, Divvy Investments

This year, my wife and I gave birth to two beautiful babies: our son, Primo, and our new book, Billy Sparkle's TIPs, which I wrote and my wife tirelessly edited. We wanted a website that would complement the look and feel of our new book and Tizbi came through for us in a world-class way.

Alex and his team took the time to listen to what we wanted and were with us at every step along the way - responding to our requests and helping us navigate through the process. We now have a website that looks amazing, does what we want it to, and will continue to be enhanced with the help and guidance of our friends at Tizbi.

Billy Sparkle Billy Sparkle Executive coach, Billy Sparkle Coaching

I just wanted to send a note and thank you very much for a job well done with the website. The new site looks FANTASTIC.

The Tizbi team launched the site on time, on budget and with no major technical issues. The go-live was smooth and our customers love it. We really appreciate all your hard work to get this launched in such a successful way.
